OHSA has issued and posted guidlines for dealing with COVID-19 entitled "Protecting Workers: Guidance on Mitigating and Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in the Workplace".
Many of the guidlines reflect the CDC's directions for helping to control the spread of COVID-19. These are not strict legal obligations but President Biden has instructed OSHA that by March 15, 2020 they should determine if they should issue binding emergency temporary standards.
So far the employeers that Local 810 negotiates with in Kansas City have taken steps already that reflect what the CDC and OSHA has recomended.
