Located in downtown Kansas City in the Power & Light District, the original Midland Theatre opened in 1927 and has hosted well-known artists throughout its history. Under the name, Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland, the venue continues that tradition hosting concerts, family shows, awards shows, corporate and charitable events.
In 2007 the interior was renovated to accommodate a wider range of events. The main floor can be configured for standing, traditional theater seating or banquet seating giving it a range of 1300 to 3000 in capacity.
